SCAM ALERT!
Keller Williams associates are again being actively solicited for their passwords by criminal spamming organizations. This is almost always seen in the form of a forged notification claiming to be from support@kw.com or other official source, often stating that the recipient’s email account will be suspended unless they confirm their account information, including their passwords. This allows the criminals to log in to the KW associate’s mailbox and proceed to commit further fraud using our webmail systems. Resulting in our webmail systems being blocked as a spam source by major ISPs like Comcast, AOL, and SBC/Yahoo. This affects all of us--send an email to a client, follow up on a lead, etc--due to the mail being blocked. All of which impacts your bottom line.
Please note that under no circumstances will ANY KWRI representative solicit passwords from any of our associates. This includes Customer Support (support@kw.com). Any emails claiming to be from support@kw.com or any official source requesting your passwords or requesting that you visit a page to confirm your passwords, are fraudulent and must not be acted upon.
If you or any of your associates suspect – no matter how slight – that you may have inadvertently surrendered your password to anyone, please use the tools provided to change your password immediately.
